Feed real-time customer event data into Arty agents and trigger runs from Conduit events

Overview

Connecting Conduit gives Arty's agents a real-time stream of customer behaviour. When a user completes a key action in your product — activates a feature, hits a usage limit, or goes quiet for seven days — Conduit fires the event and Arty picks it up immediately, triggering the right agent without any polling or manual intervention.

This powers use cases like churn-risk detection, activation nudges, and personalised onboarding sequences that respond to what users actually do, not just what a timer says.

How it works

Arty listens to Conduit events via a webhook destination. When an event arrives that matches a configured trigger condition — event name, property value, or user trait — Arty starts the associated agent run, passing the full event payload as input context.

For analytics use cases, agents can also query Conduit's Profile API to retrieve a user's full event history before making a decision. This is useful for churn-prediction agents that need to assess behaviour over time, not just the most recent event.

Configure

Connect Conduit from Arty Studio under Integrations > Analytics. Provide your Conduit write key and select which sources to listen to. You can then map specific Conduit events to agent trigger conditions in the integration settings panel.

Arty can also be added as a Conduit destination. In your Conduit dashboard, add Arty as a custom destination using the webhook destination type and paste in your Arty webhook URL. This routes all events matching your destination filters directly into Arty without any additional configuration in Studio.
