We started Arty with a straightforward belief: businesses should not need a six-month implementation project and a dedicated engineering team just to automate the work that slows them down every day.
Today, we are announcing an €18M Series A led by Sequoia Capital Europe, with participation from existing investors Chalfen Ventures and a group of operators who have built and scaled B2B SaaS businesses themselves. This round brings our total funding to €23.5M.
We are not celebrating the funding. We are sharing what we plan to do with it.
Why now
The gap between what AI agents can do and what most businesses have actually deployed is wider than it should be. The technology works. The blockers are implementation complexity, integration overhead, and the absence of a clear path from "we want to try this" to "this is running in production."
That is the problem Arty was built to close. Since launching our Growth tier in October 2024, we have helped over 340 companies deploy agents across lead qualification, customer support, content operations, and onboarding — most of them live within 14 days of signing.
Our net revenue retention sits at 124%. That number tells us the agents are working.
What the capital is for
Three things, in order of priority.
Expanding the Agent Library. We currently offer 30+ production-ready agents across six categories. By the end of 2026, that number will exceed 80. The new categories we are building toward include financial operations, HR and people workflows, and legal document processing. These are areas where the manual overhead is enormous and the tolerance for error is high — exactly the conditions where well-scoped agents create the most value.
Deepening the developer platform. Our Developer tier converts to paid at 18%. That is a signal that developers who try the API find it worth paying for, and we intend to keep earning that. This year we are shipping an expanded SDK, tighter webhook support, and a sandbox environment that mirrors production more closely so teams can test with confidence before they deploy.
Growing the team. We are hiring across engineering, customer success, and agent delivery. If you are interested, the careers page has the open roles.
Where the money came from — and why it matters
Sequoia Capital Europe led this round because they believe, as we do, that the businesses that organise around what agents make possible will outcompete those that do not. That is not a distant future. It is happening now, across every industry we work in.
"Arty is doing something most infrastructure companies fail at: making genuinely complex technology feel inevitable to use. The 124% net revenue retention is not a vanity metric — it means customers are expanding because the agents are delivering. That is the only number that matters at this stage."
— Clara Meijer, Partner, Sequoia Capital Europe
What this means for existing customers
Nothing changes about how Arty works for you today. Your agents keep running. Your account team stays the same. The only difference is that we now have the resources to ship faster, support you better, and build the parts of the platform that have been on the roadmap longer than we would like.
If you have been waiting to expand your agent deployment, now is a good time to talk.

What comes next
We will share more detail on the new agent categories and developer platform improvements as they ship. The best place to follow along is the product changelog and this blog.
If you want to see what Arty can do for your team, book a demo. If you are a developer, the sandbox is free and takes about five minutes to get running.
Thank you to every customer who trusted us early. This round exists because of what you built with us.
